Ron Twachtman
Ron Twachtman has over thirty years experience in the fabrication, installation, hook-up, start-up and decommissioning of oil and gas production and transmission facilities. He has held positions with McDermott and Raymond Offshore Constructors, including those of Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Operations Engineer, and Operations Manager. Ron has been responsible for the planning and execution of many offshore platform and pipeline installations, platform salvages, facilities hook-up, pipeline beach pulls, onshore pipelines, and mooring buoy installations. He has worked in West Africa, Egypt, Trinidad, and the Gulf of Mexico. Ron holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and is a Registered P.E. in Texas.
Bob Byrd
Bob Byrd has over thirty years experience in the design, fabrication, and installation of offshore platforms and marine facilities. He had held positions with IMODCO Inc., Brian Watt Associates, Inc., the Norwegian Hydrodynamics Laboratory, and is a former U.S. Coast Guard officer. His positions have included Project Engineer, Project Manager, Projects Director, President and Chief Operating Officer. Bob has considerable experience with planning and fabrication for remote sites worldwide and for harsh environments such as the Arctic. He is a specialist in probabilistic project cost and schedule risk assessment. Bob holds a B.S. in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a M.S. in Ocean Engineering from the University of Alaska, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Registered P.E. in Texas, and is certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
Jerry Gilmore
Jerry Gilmore has over thirty years of construction and operations experience in the oil & gas industry. Jerry's experience includes fabrication, installation and removal of Gulf of Mexico platforms, facilities and pipelines, domestic onshore facilities and related construction projects. He has held positions of Vice President of Projects, Construction Department Manager, Project Manager and Project Engineer at Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America, Pennzoil Exploration and Production Company (presently Devon Energy), and consultant to El Paso Energy Corporation. His departmental management and project management skills were used for planning, budgeting, engineering, permitting, fabrication, installation and startup. He has worked closely with operations and drilling departments on day to day production operations. Jerry holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University at Kingsville and is a Registered P.E. in Texas.
Esau Velazquez
Esau Velazquez has more than twelve years of experience with Twachtman Snyder & Byrd. He has been the lead project engineer for various international and domestic projects. Consulting projects have included decommissioning studies for platforms in the North Sea, South China Sea, California and the Gulf of Mexico. Esau has been the project engineer and project manager for the decommissioning of numerous offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Offshore field operations have included platform inspections, platform removals and pipeline installations. Esau is fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. Esau holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.
Huey Kliebert
Huey Kliebert has over twenty years of extensive Workover, Well Intervention, P&A and Project Management experience. Skill sets include operational knowledge and implementation of well intervention services, writing procedures, created and managing cost / AFE estimates, coordinating well intervention projects (Single, multi-well and multi-services projects) and managing decommissioning projects in the Gulf of Mexico and inland waters.
